I really like the Surface 2 and would hate for this little thing to be a deal breaker but i traded my ipad 2 in for it and that never had an issue with retrieving email. Send email ipad would get it right away. Seems like a minor issue but the Surface will also be used by my mother who does not understand allot on how these things work and that's why we kept the ipad and returned the first surface tablet.
