Thinking of getting a new one since now I have to click the button a few times so it can turn on. I would have given it 5 stars but there is no indicator as to when the iron is up to the chosen heat setting. Also the handle gets pretty warm. My last one was a Chi and the handle stayed cool.
The iron works well for my needs and doesn't pull my hair at all. This flat iron keeps turning off while I'm in the middle of doing my hair. At first I thought I unplugged it or hit the button but then it kept doing it. So what is wrong with my flat iron.
I was traveling and forgot mine, figured I'd purchase this one as it was a little cheaper, and was expecting at least good results from the brand. Even at the highest temps it took several passes to even moderately straighten my hair, and it just seemed to dry it out. I have very fine, thin hair. I purchased this at the recommendation of my hairdresser. I do like how light it is in my hands and that it does not feel like it damages my hair. I do feel like to achieve the most straightening affect I have to use the hotter temps.
It is small but since I don't have much hair it works for me. I plan to try it for curling too but haven't done that yet. Overall, I am happy with it for the purpose I purchased it for. Ordered this 8 months ago and it already doesn't work I've also found that, when it did work, it made my hair pretty frizzy. Super bummed. Spend your money on a different straightener. Got this as a Christmas gift, 6 months later it does not even heat at all.
